Mumford And Sons were kicked out of a strip club in Atlanta on Tuesday night (September 10th) after violating the “no cameras” rule, one of the biggest no-nos in these kinds of venues. According to TMZ, the British group had performed earlier in the evening at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park and decided to visit the famous Clermont Lounge to celebrate. It was karaoke night, and apparently band member Winston Marshall took the stage to belt out a few tunes.
- According to witnesses, the other band members decided to document the occasion with their camera phones, But club personnel freaked out, demanding they put their phones away.
- The DJ reportedly had to lower the music several times to ask the band members to put their cameras away. That in turn irked Marshall, who loudly accused the DJ of ruining his song.
- The two sides got more heated until the club manager finally kicked the entire band and their entourage out.
- Mumford And Sons are in the middle of their Gentlemen Of The Road Stopovers tour, with the next event taking place Friday and Saturday (September 13th and 14th) in Saint Augustine, Florida.
