Bud Light has announced that The Foo Fighters and other bands will be playing gigs in New York City to celebrate the arrival of the Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The band is scheduled to perform on February 1st — one day before the big game.
Dave Grohl and his bandmates will be joined by the Zac Brown Band. The show will take place in a specially built, heated concert venue that will also host performances by Imagine Dragons on January 31st and Fall Out Boy prior to the game on February 2nd.
- Earlier this month, The Foo Fighters played their first live show in over a year at Rock & Roll Pizza in Moorpark, California.
- The band is also working on a new album. Grohl recently told Rolling Stone, “We’re writing the album in a way that I don’t think has been done before.”
