With plenty of projects planned for the band’s future, Seether seems to not be letting the past hold them back.
Frontman Shaun Morgan was asked about his one-time girlfriend, Evanescence singer Amy Lee, suing the label they both used to record for, Wind-Up Records. Shaun explained, “I must be honest, I don’t think suing the label makes any sense to me. I certainly wouldn’t sue them. We had a tumultuous ride with them for 12 years and it was good, and at times it was bad, like any relationship. But do I feel like I need to go back and sue them? I don’t think so. As far as I’m concerned, I’m glad to part ways and start a new chapter with a new label.”
- Seether is currently working on their seventh studio album, which is due out in May.
- The band kicks of a headlining tour on April 18th, with supporting acts Black Stone Cherry and Skindred. Tickets are now on sale.
