Linkin Park has posted a new lyric video for “Guilty All The Same,” the first single from its upcoming album The Hunting Party. Even though the disc still isn’t finished, singer Chester Bennington told us the band wanted to give fans a taste of what to expect:
“The bulk of the record is done. There’s still some things that we’re finishing up but, you know, we were very excited about the song and we wanted to — we knew that the song was gonna be different and potentially challenging. Some stations may not even play it, because of just the nature of what it is, which is fine. But we wanted to give our fans a really good taste for what’s to come before the record comes out.”
- The Hunting Party is due out in mid-June and will follow up Linkin Park’s 2012 effort Living Things.
- MC Mike Shinoda recently said that “Guilty All The Same” was “a good look into the DNA of the record that we’re putting out this summer.”
- Linkin Park announced last week that it will head out on a co-headlining North American trek with 30 Seconds To Mars dubbed the Carnivores Tour. Joining Linkin Park and 30 Seconds To Mars on the bill will be AFI.
- The road trip kicks off on August 8th in West Palm Beach, Florida, with dates booked through September 19th in Concord, California. More shows may be added later.
