Arctic Monkeys and Kings Of Leon are among the rumored headliners for this year’s Lollapalooza festival, which will take place from August 1st to the 3rd at its usual location of Grant Park in Chicago. According to the Chicago Tribune, unnamed “industry sources” said that Skrillex and Eminem are also on the short list to headline.
- The fest’s producers will officially announce the lineup next week, with tickets on sale next Tuesday (March 25th).
- All four rumored headliners have played Lollapalooza before, with Eminem one of the headliners just three years ago.
- Kings Of Leon headlined in 2009, while Arctic Monkeys performed in 2011 and Skrillex showed up just last year.
- More than 100 acts will appear on eight stages at this year’s event. A reported 300,000 music fans turned out in 2013.
