Jack White will release his second solo album, titled Lazaretto, on June 10th. The disc follows up his 2012 solo debut, Blunderbuss, which was the first record White made on his own after recording extensively with the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather. The title track will arrive as a single later this month, but in the meantime White has posted a video for the new instrumental track “High Ball Stepper.”
- Blunderbuss was the first album of White’s career to debut at Number One on the Billboard 200 album chart. It was also nominated for five Grammys, including Album of the Year.
- White toured behind that album with two backing bands, one that was all-male and the other all-female.
- There’s no word yet on White’s live plans for Lazaretto, although he will headline the Governor’s Ball festival in New York City on June 7th.
