No less than 10 bands are performing full albums at the 10th anniversary edition of Riot Fest, scheduled to take place from September 12th and 14th in Humboldt Park in Chicago.
According to Rolling Stone, the “10 Years. 10 Essential Albums” program will feature Weezer performing the “Blue Album,” Jane’s Addiction doing Nothing’s Shocking, the Offspring playing Smash, S
- One more yet-to-be-announced band will also perform a full album at the Chicago show.
- Weezer, Slayer and NOFX will also perform their albums front to back at the Denver edition of Riot Fest, scheduled for September 19th, 20th and 21st A Toronto edition will also be held on September 6th and 7th.
- The Chicago edition of the festival will be the first time Gwar performs since the death of frontman Dave Brockie, who portrayed the character Oderus Urungus.
