Chevelle has extended its current tour with a string of East Coast dates. According to FMQB, the third leg of the trio’s 2014 schedule begins on August 9th in Rochester, New York, winding down on September 5th in Clifton Park, New York. A week of western dates will follow before the band closes out this stretch in Sacramento, California on September 13th.
We asked frontman Pete Loeffler if he gets irritated when people are texting or filming on their phones during shows: [“Yeah, you do get that for part of the show, maybe for some of the singles — like ‘The Red,’ things like that. But I don’t know, I mean, that’s cool. It’s an iPhone culture we live in now, so to each his own. I mean, it used to be like everybody would have to hand over their cameras at shows. Now it’s like, are you gonna take everybody’s phones? I don’t think that’s gonna happen.”] SOUNDCUE (:18 OC: . . . that’s gonna happen.)
