U2 was forced to postpone their week long residency on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after Bono underwent surgery for a cycling injury. The Irish rockers were supposed to bring five nights of ‘Songs of Innocence’ to Jimmy Fallon’s stage starting tonight (November 17th, 2014) but after Bono injured his arm in a cycling accident in Central Park, the rocker will be heading to surgery instead of basking in the Tonight Show spotlight. The band wrote on their website. ” We’re sure he’ll make a full recovery soon, so we’ll be back! Much thanks to Jimmy Fallon and everyone at the show for their understanding.”
