A revival of the TV series X-Files is closer to becoming to a reality with news that Fox is close to giving an official green-light to reviving the show. It looks like the network has agreed to what they call a “short stack” order which is less than 10 episodes but will closer off any of the loose ends from storylines. Many things were left unresolved at the end of the film “I Want To Believe” so this “short stack” would take care of all of them and give us all the answers we so desperately need. Both Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny would be part of it, as their current projects wouldn’t interfere with filming. We should know for a fact soon whether this is a go or not, and Fox is apparently aiming to make a “big announcement” before their upfront presentation in New York this May.
