These little ones prove that xylophones can rock!
They’re a group of middle school kids that range between the ages of 7 and 14 and they’re known as the Louisville Leopard Percussionists.
Now, thanks to a shout out from none other than Jimmy Page himself, the kids’ mashup of “Kashmir,” “The Ocean” and “Immigrant Song” has gone viral.
So what did Jimmy have to say about the video?
The Zepplin co-founder posted it on his Facebook page with the comment, “Too good not to share.”
Check it out for yourself.
Originally conceived in 1993, the Louisville Leopard Percussionists are an ensemble of roughly 60 kids from 48 different schools in and around Louisville, Kentucky. The program seeks to instill values of leadership, cooperation and discipline through music… and the ability to ROCK!!!
