One of the biggest names is rap AND pot has joined a group of investors who have collectively invested $10 million into a marijuana delivery service called ‘Eaze’.
It’s none other than Snoop Dogg (of course!).
The San Francisco-based weed delivery service provides a link between medical marijuana patients in the area to ‘pot dispensaries’, and has been helping people ‘puff, puff, pass’ since 2013. The company has been described as ‘Uber for weed’ and is currently available in 35 cities, and claims to deliver their products in as little as ten minutes!
Thanks to the new influx of cash from investors such as Snoop Dogg, the company will now be able to hire 50 new members of staff.
‘Eaze’ CEO and founder Keith McCarty says their app is currently in development and is set to resemble Uber. It’ll also highlight their most popular products. McCarty says, “The plan is to be in every market as quickly as possible that allows for medical marijuana and even recreational use of marijuana”.
Following the start-up of Eaze, Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson and Cypress Hill’s B Real each have their own plans to open medical marijuana dispensaries in the near future.
