A synopsis for the film from imdb reads: “A happily married mother of two moves from small town America to the high class suburbs and is faced with confronting the cut throat world of competitive parenting.”
The film will be based on the 2006 book, Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads: Dealing with Parents, Teachers, Coaches, and Councelors who man make – or break- your child’s future. That book doesn’t sound horrifying at all.
What happens to Queen Bees and Wannabes when they grow up?
Even the most well-adjusted moms and dads can experience peer pressure and conflicts with other adults that make them act like they’re back in seventh grade. In Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads, Rosalind Wiseman gives us the tools to handle difficult situations involving teachers and other parents with grace.
Filming is scheduled to begin this summer.
