Pencil December 7th, 2015 into your Blackberry. The Vancouver Canucks will be paying tribute to one of the best lines (and worst jerseys) in franchise history when the team takes on their expansion brothers, the Buffalo Sabres, at Rogers Arena.
As Rob Williams writes on Vancity Buzz: The trio known as the ‘West Coast Express’ made up arguably the most fun to watch line in Canucks history in the early 2000s. Bertuzzi, Naslund and Morrison were put together by head coach Marc Crawford for the first time on January 9, 2002 and the chemistry was instant.
The Canucks have a bunch of tributes planned to celebrate 20 years at Rogers Arena. They call it 20 in 20. There will be a Grizzlies Night, Trevor Linden gets honoured and personally I’d like to see a throwback to Ozzy Osbourne’s memorable 1996 performance at GM Place. Dare to dream right.
Ozzy doing “Paranoid” from that tour in ’96 but from a date in Kentucky.
