We all grew up with Mac’s and Mac’s Milk convenience store. As a kid it meant candy, as an adult it meant replacing the milk without having to drag yourself through the whole grocery store. Now it appears that Mac’s will be no more.
Don’t worry – the convenience store itself is staying put, but the Quebec company that owns them has decided that they will be re-branded as “Circle K” stores.
Here is some online chatter about the move:
I'm going to look even older when I keep referring to Circle K as Mac's Milk.

'Statoil' to rebrand itself 'Circle-K' in desperate bid to become bland, boost marketing guy's pension. Jesus 'K' Christ.

Here in Canada we’ll see the re-branding start in May 2017, and even earlier in the United States.
I’m going to miss that winking Owl.
