Well that was a fun and then crushing few hours for Oasis fans today.
The Daily Star(which admittedly is a pretty hilarious gossip rag from the UK) reported that Oasis is seriously mulling a reunion. The talks are so serious that the Daily Star says there will be a 2016 arena tour.

Now the Gallagher brothers Noel, 48, and Liam, 43, plus bandmates Andy Bell and Gem Archer, are in “serious talks” to follow suit.
Our source said: “Other bands have reunited and had a fantastic pay day so it makes sense for everyone involved.
“It has been discussed seriously – it’s only a matter of time.
That sure sounds fun…but a few hours later, a spokesperson told NME, nope.

Gigwise has some more from an interview with Radio X where Chris Moyles asked Noel Gallagher directly what is going on with the reunion rumors.
“Probably not in the very near future. One should never say never though, when someone’s waving a cheque for a quarter of a billion…” He added, “I’m sure there are countless, thousands of people who would love it [an Oasis reunion] but there’s one that wouldn’t…me.”
So do Noel and Liam get along now? “when City won the league about 8-9 months ago (was the last time they hung out)… I don’t hang out with my family, I never did…”
And so here we are, back where we started.
