If you are heading out on the Seawall today, keep your camera handy! You may see another Grey Whale!!
Only days after one was spotted just off the waters of the Vancouver seawall, an elusive grey whale was sighted once again.
While it’s unknown if it’s the same whale found off Siwash Rock last week, research biologist Chad Nordstrom at the Vancouver Aquarium says the close encounters with the public are actually normal because they are coastal feeders.
A single grey whale was first sighted last Tuesday, but on Friday, other witnesses reported seeing two in English Bay.
