Well here is an unlikely alliance coming together to fight for our right to party. The B.C. Government and Service Employees Union and the B.C. Private Liquore Store Association want to band together to lobby to be able to sell recreational marijuana at liquor stores.
Vancity Buzz quotes a press release: “The BCGEU and BCPLSA believe this partnership will help enable a safe, responsible and effective system for recreational marijuana in British Columbia. The partnership envisions enabling British Columbians to buy non-medical marijuana throughout age-controlled liquor stores by Christmas of 2016.”
Pencil it into your Blackberry, Christmas 2016. I’ll be able to really tuck into that Mega Ill Pot Pizza….wash it down with a beer, then enjoy a post pizza party bong rip.
