The Vault package includes a 1998 live recording of Two Star Tabernacle, a short-lived punk band featuring White and Dan John Miller. The release includes “twangier older siblings” of “Hotel Yorba” and “Now Mary,” tracks that were altered and recorded for White Stripes’ third album White Blood Cells, as well as an unreleased track called “Itchy.” Also in the package is a recording from The Bricks, a band White formed less than a year later and whose lineup included his future Raconteurs bandmate Brendan Benson. The release features early versions of White Stripes songs like “Candy Cane Children” and “You Got Her in Your Pocket” plus an unreleased track called “One and Two”
