I need two of these…one for my kids and one for me!
Falkor the LuckDragon is from the 1984 movie The NeverEnding Story. The movie was made in West Germany (and some scenes were filmed in Vancouver!) and at the time, it was the most expensive movie created outside the US or USSR.
GameGuardians etsy shop makes the Falkor plush toy and it is clearly resonating with the children of the 80’s…since the story started bouncing around on the internet, Lara who runs the shop has been overwhelmed with orders.
Wow the response to my Falkor has been overwhelming! I’ve had 1500 people contact me wanting to buy one and well the waiting list would be years. I can’t answer all the messages. I think it’s clear that the world needs more Falkors. I don’t have it in my heart to overprice him. People with less disposable income need more luck(dragons) right? I can only make about 15 a month and I don’t have a factory or elves( thanks elves you missed a great opportunity guys… ) So I’m going to start also offering my pattern for sale with detailed instructions and pictures. That way people are encouraged to make their own adding their own creative touches or make as many as they can and sell them. Thanks everyone! Laura #spreadtheluck.
Since the product went viral, she can’t make enough Falkors…so now you can buy the pattern and make your own. NICE!

And what about that 2000’s band Atreyu? So good right?
