Last year a media company experimented with the idea of a Virtual Reality Cinema and pop-up VR-Cinemas around Europe.
Last week, they announced the very first permanent VR Cinema theater in Amsterdam.
In a VR cinema there is no screen… there are no bolted seats all facing one way… instead it’s a bunch of swivel wheeley chairs in a room that come with Samsung Gear VR glasses and a pair of headphones.
This way you can watch your VR movie in 360 degrees facing any way you want.
It’s roughly $14 for a ticket, but film only lasts around 35 minutes.
We can expect more to pop up now all over the place.
