Radiohead’s long-time visual collaborater Stanley Donwood says that he’s heard the band’s new album, and that it’s “a work of art.”
Donwood has worked with Radiohead since producing the cover art for the band’s 1994 single “My Iron Lung.”
Radiohead are expected to release a new album soon. It will be the follow-up to 2011’s King of Limbs.
“It’s a work of art,” Donwood said before confirming that he’s heard the album, which is “not yet” entirely finished.
Asked whether or not he had finished work on the album’s artwork, Donwood replied, “There’s quite a lot I still have to do”.
When asked which Radiohead artwork has been his personal favourite, Donwood responded by saying, “I’ve just had a think about this, and I think it’s the one that no-one’s seen yet. It was made by the strong warm winds of southern France.”
