The California Assembly has approved a bill to raise the US’s most populous state to $15 an hour. The bill now waits for the Governor to endorse it on Monday.
California already has the US’s highest minimum wage which is currently $10 an hour. But with the high cost of living advocates say that $15 is required to lift millions of families out of poverty.
