According to Rolling Stone, Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys says he regrets being part of Steve Miller’s induction into the Hall of Fame. Auberbach and Black Keys drummer Pat Carney found Miller to be so unpleasant that they left half way through his performance and never came back.
It remains a bit of a mystery why Steve Miller accepted his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, except to use it as a platform to gripe about the music industry and the Cleveland institution itself.
Miller called the music industry, ‘f*(&ing gangsters and crooks’ and said of the Hall of Fame itself that ‘everybody is kind of a dick and an asshole.’
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Miller blasted the organizers of the event and called for an overhaul. Watch the interview here.
