A Lower Mainland institution, Splashdown Park, will slide it’s last slide this summer.
The 7 acre water park in Tsawwassen sits on lands managed by the Tsawwasseen First Nation and it is believed they have some other ideas for the property once the lease expires at the end of this water sliding season.
An official release says:
Damn right Splashdown, we’ll make this best one! My daughter bugs me to take her to Splashdown every time we head to the ferry…it looks like I can’t put it off any longer. We’re gunna get after it so much this summer.
I pretty much lifted most of this blog post from CKNW!
