Do you know what’s scarier than old abandoned amusement parks from the ’70’s?
Enter – The Land Of Oz. It was an amusement park located in North Carolina and themed after The Wizard of Oz with attractions including Dorothy’s farm house, hot air balloon rides, movie props, favourite characters and more.
A bunch of sad and tragic events (including the founder dying and a mysterious fire) led to the park closing back in 1980.
Fast forward to today, where nostalgia is key and it’s been announced that the deserted park will re-open for four Friday’s next month.
Make it a night tour in October and I’m there!
