Ah, 1947… The Leafs won the cup, The Best Years Of Our Lives wins the Oscar for best picture, and it cost you twenty-five cents to cross the Lion’s Gate Bridge (or who knows, maybe it was more by ’47).
Daily Hive pointed me to this BC History video showing a car driving over the Lion’s Gate Bridge in 1947. These colourized old history moving pictures always trip me out.
