The very first Ohana Music Festival kicked off in California last night (August 27, 2016) with a headlining set courtesy Eddie Vedder and as per usual, the Pearl Jam singer did not disappoint.
It was quite the contrary actually – Vedder surprised fans by appearing on stage with several of the musical acts performing.
First, he popped on stage during Elvis Costello’s set to lend his vocals to “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding?”
Check it out below.
Later on, the rocker joined former Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons for an insane cover of Pink Floyd’s”Shine On You Crazy Diamond”.
Nope, he’s not done yet!
During his own set, he invited fellow Ohana festival performers X, Band of Horses and Vedder’s longtime friend, surfer Kelly Slater on stage for a cover of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World”.
