We had one hell of a Thanksgiving long weekend in the Lower Mainland. Hope you got outside on the trails or snuck in that game of touch football because rains and wind return maybe as early as Wednesday night.
The next series of storms should begin Wednesday night and by Thursday be dumping some serious rain. Parts of the Island could see 200 millimeters of rain between Thursday and Sunday. Inner Coastal regions might see 100 mm of rain.
Global BC meteorologist Kristi Gordon said, “We have a ridge of high pressure for today and tomorrow. Then it will break down and allow a series strong systems to hit the coast.”
