SNOW! It is predicted to be coming back to the Lower Mainland Thursday evening.
It is expected to be pretty cold tonight. Environment Canada issued a warning for the Fraser Valley and Howe Sound saying folks “should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions.”
The snow should start falling Thursday evening and continue into Friday when it may then turn to freezing rain or rain. It will be cold through the weekend and Environment Canada says: “with no significant warming trend in sight, any new snow will likely remain on the ground for several days.”
Hang on a second, Santa Fox Food Drive is still on Friday….so far, snow, freezing rain, or slush…we’re moving forward.
Do you have your pet friendly ice melt stuff? I went on a mission this morning and actually found a bag! I bought two, and traded one for a surplus snow shovel. Look at that, the #snowpocalypse is already breaking society down to a barter economy!
Snow is likely into Friday morning with accumulations of 10 to 15 cm. The snow may later turn into rain or even freezing rain.— Global BC (@GlobalBC) December 7, 2016
