A couple years ago, Netflix gifted us with “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp”, a sequel to the cult classic film “Wet Hot American Summer” which saw big a-list actors in hilarious roles, before they became household names.
“First Day of Camp” was hilarious because they brought back the same cast who had obviously aged, but just pretended they hadn’t and actually placed the series to be BEFORE the original movie.
Now they’re jogging the timeline again, and moving forward 10 years from the original film… again with the original cast.
Welcome to “Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later”
It will feature A.D. Miles, Amy Poehler, Beth Dover, Chris Meloni, Chris Pine, David Hyde Pierce, David Wain, Elizabeth Banks, Eric Nenninger, H. Jon Benjamin, Janeane Garofalo, Jason Schwartzman, Joe Lo Truglio, John Early, Josh Charles, Ken Marino, Kristen Wiig, Lake Bell, Marguerite Moreau, Marisa Ryan, Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, Molly Shannon, Nina Hellman, Paul Rudd, Rich Sommer, Sarah Burns and Zak Orth from the original.
It also adds new characters with Skyler Gisondo, Samm Levine, Mark Feuerstein, Marlo Thomas, Joey Bragg, Jai Courtney, Dax Shepard, Alyssa Milano and Adam Scott.
August 4th is the premiere date.
