OH man… what a ride it’s been.
The insane demand for Szechuan Sauce or “Mulan Nugget Dipping Sauce” if you will, really peaked this weekend. After the season 3 episode of Rick and Morty featuring the sauce in 1998, people have been going nuts to try to get their hands on some by any means necessary.
McDonalds had a “limited supply” available at restaurants in the U.S. on Saturday and by that I mean they each had about 20 packs.
#szechuansauce They didn't get the sauce at UPenn, but I enjoyed a police speaker saying "Return to your homes. They do not have the sauce"

They clearly underestimated the Rick and Morty fanbase.

People lined up for blocks and when word got out that there was no more – actual riots happened.
The good news is – McDonalds heard us… and now they’re bringing it back full time!
