• Crankworx Whistler is a 10 day festival taking place August 10-19, 2012 and is the biggest annual event in Whistler with an on-site cumulative audience of over 138,000.
• Last year, over 25,000 people watched Crankworx’ signature event the Red Bull Joyride.
• Red Bull Joyride is recognized as a Diamond stop (one of only two worldwide) on the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour.
• A massive web-based audience tuned into the action from around the world resulting in over 1.7 million views of broadcast quality webcasts and video-on-demand clips.
• There are over 1,400 competitor starts by amateur and professional freeride, downhill and slopestyle mountain bike athletes with over $164,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs.
• Whistler has the world’s most diverse offering of mountain biking terrain, including 150 miles of single-track trails, 5,000 vertical feet of lift-accessed downhill runs in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, jump parks and 20+ miles of paved Valley Trail
