Lower Body
Alarm went off at 5:20AM - I am determined to get to spin class despite&amp;nbsp;the dark sky and&amp;nbsp;wet weather.
I get there in time and am&amp;nbsp;soo happy that I did.
Nicole is teaching spin class. High energy, loud music - I almost forget where I am as I totally feel this workout working.
Next up, upstairs to the training centre to see Jemal.
Upper Body.
We are upping all my weights. Chest press with free weights, shoulder press with free weights (this is KILLER for me!), rows (sit up straight and pinch your shoulders together), pull downs, pull ups (bend knees a bit), bench dips. Some ab work.
Times that all by 4 - WOW!!
Great workout TOTALLY felt it. 
As I leave the gym the rain is falling like crazy but I feel GREAT!

I will shout that from the top of mountains.
But esp now when I am in a full on winter-esqe lull! 

It has never been more important to have some one to check in with until now - the cold AM's that I'd rather press snooze and get a couple more hours of zzz's then face the rain and the gym.

But as soon as I get into Steve Nash SC, I am stoked. The energy in the gym just gets me pumped to get ready to workout. I am sooo glad that I did make it in!!

Jemal and I are switching up our training style for the next couple of weeks - lower body - Tuesday, upper body - Wednesday, all over - Thursday.

OK woke up this morn to pouring rain and my legs most def feel worked form Jemal's butt kick, yesterday!

I am excited to be back at it despite my wet trek to the gym but as soon as I get in there my mood is lifted. There is something about seeing other people working hard that really pushes you farther.
Today it is abs and I am sorta scared - it has been two full weeks since our workouts and I know I am going to hurt.
Bright side - the more my abs hurt - the less my legs will!
Today's highlights: Russian twist on the ball - shoulders on ball, hips up and rotate shoulders with a weight plate out stretched in front of me.

Jemal is back from Vacay.
Man, did I miss our sessions!
We are getting back to our workouts 3x per week and I am so ready to get my butt kicked.
We start our exercises..One of them was: 3 sets of 15 of: lying on my back, legs up about 5 inches from the ground while pressing 15 pound free weights...that was just one of the sets I tackled today&amp;nbsp;and I was feeling the weight right away.
I always get worried when I start feeling my arms as soon as I finish...I know that I will be FEELING it even more in the AM.
We have such a great workout...I am really looking forward to abs tomorrow.
Jemal is the best!!

I miss our training.
I have been keeping busy with spin in the AM and just came back from at 1:15 class taught by Greg - AWESOME class.
Great music, tons of variety and I never looked at the clock once and it was done.
Before spin, I went in with Ryan, our web master, and we taped some new trainer vids with some of the awesome trainers at SN.
The cool thing about each trainer is that all have something different to offer, so if you call in and asked to be paired with a trainer you can totally pick one that best suits you. The videos should be up and running soon!

I can feel it as soon as I get up in the morning. It starts to get lighter around 6:10am instead of just before 6am.
The darker it is in the am the harder it is to get up and motivated to get to the gym. I am feeling it for sure this week.
Jemal is on vacay - back next week but I want to keep up my cardio while he is gone.
I miss the weights! Looking forward to next Tuesday.
It's a little darker, a little colder as I get ready and on my way but I feel so great when spin is done at 7:30 am that I know I made the right decision by coming to the gym.
I like spin b/c the room is dark, the music is LOUD and the teachers push you to the next level.

OK, HOT is the understatement of the YEAR! I could barely sleep last night b/c the heat was BLARING!!
I woke up every hour on the hour so when my alarm went off at 5:30 - it was a no brainer to just get up - I might as well!
Off to spin class. Yesterday's class with Anthony was a killer!! It was soo hot that I was soaked when I left. TMI, I know.
SO, today I am just going to try it again anyways... lass is quite empty but Nicole gets us through with great music and a great routine.

Next it is off to see Jemal.

The personal training area is buzzing.

It is sooo HOT out that eating light is a snap. Salads and fruit are everywhere - I wish it was like this all year.
With trips to the lake &amp;amp; beach...weekend wardrobe involves a bathing suit. So, needless to say, getting to the gym and training with Jemal has been EXTRA motivational.
Last week we did a ton of plyo - lots of leg work - squats and lunges&amp;#8230; walking up stairs the next morning - let's just say ouch. 
I am actually very happy that I am sore - which sounds weird - but it drives home the point that I have been worked OUT.

Yesterday's workout was AMAZING, I was sooo motivated all day yesterday that I actually woke up BEFORE the alarm went off at 5:30 this morn.
6:30 - First stop: Spin class - OMG, I think I entered another universe. Anthony killed me today. 
Just when I thought he was going to tell us to decrease and rest&amp;#8230;it's INCREASE and PUSH&amp;#8230;holy crap factory - 45 mins has never went by so fast &amp;amp; hurt so hard in spin. Thanks, Anthony - great class.
Now it is time for Jemal 
Day 2 back at it. I am feeling sore from yesterday's core concentration but am very excited to get started today.
It's like the restart button has been pushed on my goal.

I was away for 2 weeks in Spain
1st week back and so ready to workout but am sooo sick! The first sinus infection of my life - ugh!! Just nasty.
Now, it's time to hit the gym and get back to the plan!
Before I left on my trip, JJ gave me a workout plan to do 2-3 x per week away.
1st week - no prob&amp;#8230;banged out 2 workouts during siesta time (the city shut down form 1:30-4:30 most days) 
So, I'd fit in the 40 min w/o and take a snooze by the pool&amp;#8230;.easy!
2nd week, I barely got one in. After all the walking, swimming, hanging in the HAWT sun - we were ready to crash.
So basically 3 weeks GYM FREE and I am just itching to get back at it.
